You’ll find everything here from an Oreo pie crust, graham cracker crust pie crust, a gluten-free oatmeal pie crust, and the classic vegan pie crust that makes a perfectly flaky crust every time!

Gluten-Free Vegan Pie Crust
If you need a gluten-free vegan pie crust, simply use the above recipes and make the following substitutions:
- Use a high-quality gluten-free baking flour for all-purpose flour. I love using Bob’s Red Mills 1:1 gluten-free flour in my baking recipes.
- Gluten-free Oreo cookies for the oreo pie crust
- Gluten-free graham crackers (or even gluten-free animal crackers/cookies) for the graham cracker crust
- Use gluten-free oats for the oatmeal pie crust.
Storebought Vegan Pie Crusts
You can also buy pre-made vegan pie crusts too. This is a rather new development and one that I’m particularly happy about! It used to be all store-bought pie crusts used lard. But these days there are more and more vegan pie crust brands. These brands change their ingredients all the time so always check the label before buying!
Here are a few to consider:
- Wholly Wholesome Pie Crust — comes in two different sizes and they offer whole wheat and gluten-free pie shells. You can find these at Whole Foods and other grocery stores like some Walmarts.
- Marie Callender’s frozen pie crust
- Keebler’s Graham Cracker Crust — You can find these in the baking section of most grocery stores.

Ingredients
- Pie Crust
- 2 cups dairy-free chocolate chips
- 1 can coconut milk (full-fat)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
Use your favorite pie crust, such as a graham cracker pie crust, Oreo pie crust, Oatmeal pie crust, or even a baked traditional pie crust. If you use a baked pie crust, be sure to allow the crust to cool.
Next, pour the chocolate chips into a heat-safe bowl.
Pour coconut milk in a microwave-safe bowl (I like using a pyrex bowl with a handle, otherwise, you'll want to use potholders to remove the heated bowl from the microwave). Heat the milk for 1 to 2 minutes until hot, but not boiling.
Pour the hot coconut milk over the chocolate chips. Use a spatula to press down any chocolate chips not under the milk. Cover with a bowl and let it sit for several minutes until the chocolate melts. Then add the vanilla and stir until it's creamy.
Pour the chocolate mixture into the pie crust. Use your spatula to get all of the chocolate gold into the pie crust. Refrigerate for up to 2 hours until the pie is set.
