The International Police Association offers assistance when travelling on your own or with your family: with the help of a travel form, many members take the chance to get to know IPA members in other countries , either a short stay in a city, or while touring a country. A truly unique chance to see the world from a local’s perspective, and to exchange with fellow police officers what policing in their country entails.Many of these encounters have resulted in life-long friendships. It houses the IPA's Education and Information Centre and is widely referred to as the Flagship of the AssociationFounded in 1969, it is where IPA professional seminars, conferences and meetings are held. Section UK - International Police Association #SHEisIPAOn day 3 of the YPOS the participants were welcomed by the State Police Vice President Dr. Michael Lepuschitz, M.A., at the Roßauer Barracks.Following this, there were demonstrations by the special units of the emergency unit WEGA and the police service dogs.In the afternoon there was a tour of the deployment training center Süßenbrunn, as well as a dragon boat race in the PSV bath in Kaisermühlen, where the day also ended with a cozy barbecue evening.
