If you are like me and live in a cold place you thrive on hot drinks during the winter!

One of my favorites is homemade hot chocolate! I love to cozy up on the couch in front of the tv with a warm glass of this delicious drink!

To make this drink you will only need a few ingredients!

HOW TO MAKE HOT CHOCOLATE:

  • I use a very simple homemade recipe to make the hot chocolate!
  • any flavor will do but I am in love with this salted caramel hot chocolate recipe!
  • you can definitely make this in the microwave but I don’t have one anymore so I had to go with the stove top version!
  • No need to only use marshmallows, whipped cream works well too!

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons homemade cocoa mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 tablespoons Torani Salted Caramel Syrup
  • caramel sauce optional for drizzle
  • sea salt optional for sprinkling
  • 2 splash of Torani Salted Caramel Syrup

Instructions

  • In medium pot add milk and 3 tablespoons Torani Salted Caramel Syrup. Heat until almost simmering.

  • Whisk in cocoa mix until smooth and creamy.

  • Pour into glasses. Add a splash ofTorani Salted Caramel Syrup into each glass. Coat rim with caramel and sea salt. Top with marshmallows or whipped cream.

  • Serve and ENJOY!

Notes

For Homemade Cocoa Mix:
3 Cups Sugar
2 Cups Baking Cocoa. Whisk together and store in a airtight container
