St. Patricks Day Recipes
Sometimes holiday’s can be so tricky and time-consuming and can burn you out. Meal planning and searching for what to serve and hoping that it tastes good can be the most challenging part. Luckily, St. Patrick’s day is a no-stress holiday that is meant for my favorite thing…. FOOD! I mean, I guess Leprechauns, Irish celebrations, and the color green factor into the holiday, too, but let’s be honest. The food is where it’s at! St. Patrick’s Day recipes are so much fun!
To take out all of the scrambles of trying to find out what people make to celebrate March 17th, I’ve rounded up all of my St. Patrick’s Day favorite recipes and put them here, all in one place! These recipes range from entrees, side items, desserts, and even some yummy snacks! Some work because they are green or rainbow. And others are traditional Irish food that you can make to really level up your holiday. You should find anything that you are looking for, plus some. This will be your best St. Patrick’s Day yet!
Quick Tips
Preparing ahead of time is the BEST way to make sure that your St. Patrick’s Day recipes turn out perfectly! Here are a few tips on how you can make that happen and then your holiday won’t be stressful!
- Buy the Food Coloring: The thing that my kids love most about St. Patrick’s Day is that everything is GREEN. And trust me when I say that you won’t find any green food cooring on the shelves if you wait until the last minute. Save yourself the hassle and buy it now!
- Pick Recipes Ahead: It’s best to make your meal plan a week or so ahead of time to give yourself time to get everything. Because sometimes, ingredients can be tricky to find. Plan ahead and then you will have everything that you need at home before the holiday even begins!
- Bake Ahead: To make it so that YOU can enjoy the holiday too and aren’t cooking all day, take your list of St. Patrick’s day recipes and see what you can make ahead of time. The cupcakes can be baked and refrigerated. Or the vegetables can be cut and store a day ahead. There is always something that you can do to cut the cooking time down on the day of the holiday.
